Bhubaneswar, 3rd May 2015: Indian all rounder Kothajit Singh made his Ton on the first day of the ongoing India- Japan Series like local lad Birendra lakra. The two players’ one hundredth cap is the highlight of the opening day here.

Manipur born Kothajit Singh made his international debut in the year 2012. since then established his grip on the team becoming a crucial cog in the defence.

Congratulating Kothajit Singh on his achievement, Hockey India’s President Dr Narinder Dhruv Batra said, “Hockey India is extremely delighted for Kothajit’s achievement of 100 international matches. The defender has been an integral part of Indian team and Hockey India takes utmost pride in congratulating him on his accomplishment of 100 International Caps.”


The next match in the India-Japan Hockey Series is scheduled on 5th May 2015 will be played at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar and will be telecast LIVE on DD Sports at 19.00 PM IST.
