India’s men’s A hockey team went down tamely to Queensland 4-0 while women drew their match 1-1 against Northern Territory on Friday today in the ongoing Australian Hockey League in Perth, Australia.

India A Men’s Hockey team will now play New South Wales for 3rd position on Sunday

Matthew Pembroke (5’), Hugh Pembroke (20’), Joel Rintala (42’) and Jacob Anderson (54’) scored the goals for Queensland who booked their place in the Final of the 2017 AHL.

India A girls were on par with Northern Territory in terms of all departments of the game. It was Northern Territory who took the early 1-0 lead when Brooke Peris scored a fine field goal in the 15th minute.
Gagandeep Kaur equalized when she put the ball behind Elizabeth Duguid in the 22nd minute.

India A Women will take on Australian Capital Territory in their next match at 13.30 hrs IST.
