Men and Women Hockey reaches the semi-final stage in the ongoing 35th National Games

Kerala, 08 February 2015: Post putting up a number of nail biting clashes in the pool phase, Men & Women Hockey at 35th National Games is all set clash in semi finals scheduled to be played on 10th February 2015. The semi finals will be played at the New Hockey Stadium, Kollam and it will be interesting to see which teams keep their nerves, beat their opponent and book their place in the all important Finals of the 35th National Games.

THE TEAMS
Both hockey Men and Women semi-finals are slated to be played on 10 February 2015. The day will start with the women semi-finals matches where Haryana will take on Jharkhand and Odisha will play against Punjab. This will be followed by the men semi-finals wherein Jharkhand will clash against SSCB in the third semi-final game of the day and Odisha will be seen taking on Haryana in last semi-final hockey match.

In the pool phase all the teams have displayed enthralling hockey, leaving their opponents stunned and frustrated. But each team understands the semi-final stage will be a different ball game and all new day and each one will be vying to play the Finale on 11th February 2015.

The teams emerging victorious will go on to lock horns with each other in the finals of the National Games which will be played on 11 February 2015, at the New Hockey Stadium, Kollam.

The teams who miss the Finale will battle it out for the 3rd and 4th place playoff on 11 February 2015.

SEMI FINAL SCHEDULE
The semi finals will be played on 10 February 2015 at 7.30 HRS, 9.30 HRS, 1400 HRS and 1600 HRS, respectively.
