It is another shame on the international fora.
India, being the depending champions of the Junior Asia Cup, are supposed to return the Junior Asia Cup trophy that they won in Hyderabad four years, but they have not done.
Accordingly to P. Alagendra, the Secretary General of the Asian Hockey Federation, Indian authorities informed them that they ‘lost’ the Cup.
They have now got a new Cup ready and sent it to Malacca.
The present Cup in shape and style exactly resemble the ones that got it done for the Delhi Olympic Qualifiers.
It is worthwhile to mention here that when India won the Junior Asia Cup in Hyderabad, an ad hockey Committee of IOA was looking after our hockey affairs.
