Book on hockey Olympians released

A book on hockey Olympians was released in New Delhi last week.

Titled Profiles of Indian Hockey Olympians, and complied by hockey historian and chronicler, K. Arumugam, the book covers the career profiles of all the players who played for the country in the Olympic Games from 1928 onwards with several rare photographs.

The book also provides thumb-nail sketches of players who are in the squad for the 2012 Games in London.

A good reference book for every hockey aficionado, it is priced at Rs. 780.
