Punjab Warriors content with a draw

Jalandhar: Jaypee Punjab Warriors had to be content with a draw (2-2) against Uttar Pradesh Wizards in Hockey India League encounter at the Surjit Hockey Stadium. Shivendra Singh scored the first goal for the home team in the 12th minute. Penalty corner specialist Raghunath Vokkaliga scored the equalizer in the 23rd minute. In 27th minute, Malak Singh made it 2-1 but UP’s skipper Raghunath, taking full advantage of the penalty corner, posted his and team’s second goal in the 34th minute.
