India’s penalty corner expert Sandeep Singh says he is ready to change his tacticks in the coming days so that his can be more lethal.
Speaking to s2h while watching Pakistan-Argentina match on the third day of the Azlan Shah Cup, he said that the injury he suffered earlier in the day was not serious. “I was taken to hospital, x-ray was done, the doctors have cleared me, he said
While charging Canada’s first penalty corner in the first half today, the ball hit his right knee and he had to be taken off from the field for about ten minutes. In the second half, while he was taking the penalty corner, he fell down and it was felt he suffered a serious jerk. He did not play the rest of the match, for about 25 minutes.
“I am ready now, it is upto the coaches to play me tomorrow or not”, he declared.
“I was not in action for about a year. Here my performance has been mixed. I think I have to change my tactics. I have to think about it, and probably I have to change, but not now during the tournament but after this. I want to play for the country, score more and keep going”
That is well said, Sandeep.
