The Hindu: Ankita, Jyoti go on the rampage

Ankita Dahiya pumped in eight goals, while Jyoti netted six as Hockey Himachal Pradesh thrashed Goan Hockey 17-0, in the B-Division of the seventh sub-junior National hockey tournament for women here on Thursday.

As many as 16 out of the 17 goals were field goals as Hockey Himachal Pradesh took the game away in the first half itself with a 8-0 lead.

In another match, Divya Soni’s brace set up a 5-0 win for Hockey Madhya Bharath over Hockey Puducherry.
