A fine hat-trick by Ramdoss helped G.K Motors Hockey Club, Madurai defeat Ramnad DHA, Ramnad 4-1 in the Rajamani-Kanagamani Ammal Trophy State level hockey tournament,conducted by the Reserve Line Sports Club, here on Tuesday.

A.G. Kannan of G.K Motors scored in 41st min while Ramdoss followed it up with an hat-trick scoring in the 43rd, 57th and 62nd minutes.

Saravanan got the consolation goal for the losers in the 57th minute. Man-of-theMatch: Ramdoss (G.K motors) South Zone Police beat Thirunagar H.C, Madurai 3-0.

Devendran(9th & 61st min) and Chandrasekar (20th min) were the scorers. MoM: Manikandan Ever Great Hockey Clup, Vadipatti, beat St.Josephs, Trichy 4-1 via tie breaker after the teams shared two goals in regulation time. Yoganathan of Trichy scored in 9th min off a field goal while Vellaichamy equalised in 41st min off a penalty corner. In the tie-breaker Vellaichamy, Ramachandran, and Sathiaraj scored for Vadipatti whereas failed to convert even one. MoM: Srinivasan (Vadipatti) In another match, Income Tax, Chennai beat Food Corporation of India, Chennai 32 via tie-breaker as the teams did not score in full time.

In the tie-breaker Amarnidhi, Rajendran and Rajasekaran scored for Income Tax whereas Venkatesh scored for Food Corporation of India.
