Played school hockey from 1994 onwards being a student of Adarsh Kanya Vidyalaya, Durg, Chhatisgarh State. Daughter of a Maulana, she attended her first national camp in Bangalore in 2000 after a good display in the Chennai Jr. Nationals. Played the AFH’s Under-18 Cup which India won in 2000. She posted the wining goal against Uzbekistan in the final of the Shastri 4-Nation Cup. She accounted for six goals in the 2007 Asia Cup. Last updated 31.12.2009 Note: Caps and goals record tentative
