Though made his senior debut in the Azlan Shah Cup next year, missed Olympics but bounced back soon for all senior engagements post Athens. With 21 senior caps, was one of experienced colts at India’s 2005 Junior World Cup campaign. Not considered for any senior assignment in 2005, made a name for himself scoring peach of goal in the third final of the second PHL at Chandigarh.
Posted the winning goal against the Kiwis in 2006 Azlan Shah Cup bronze medal play off. After a brief stint at Customs, joined India Airlines in 2005. Plays for Bangalore Lions in PHL and scored the winning goal in his team winning the 2006 PHL title. Unfortunately, could not find a place in the national team after Doha Asian Games.
