M. N. Ponnamma (Mallamada Narendra Ponnamma) is  a defender with Indian women's hockey national team. She can also play other positions. She has played for many tournaments, and served India in a big way. She is from Coorg, a region in the State of Karnataka which is otherwise known for producing men's hockey players.
