Born on 3rd July  2001, Manipur's Rabichandra Singh Moirangthem won gold at the U-18 Asia Cup held at Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2016. When selected for the tour, he was an incumbent of the newly formed National Hockey Academy in Delhi.  He also played twice the Sultan of Johor Cup (2017 & 2019, Silver); besides winning gold at the Asian Youth Olympic Qualifier at Bangkok. Won gold at the Asian Youth Olympic Qualifier in Bangkok 2018 & Silver at the Youth Olympic Games, Buenos Aires. He is a rising star on the Indian horizon
