Born on 5th April 1991, M B Aiyappa is yet another gem from the Kodagu region of Karnataka State, which is a known hockey provenance. He made his senior international debut in 2012. His international career was brief but impressive.

M B Aiyappa represented India at 2012 Champions Trophy, 2013 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and 2014 HWL Finals at Delhi.
