Goalkeeper - Captain Helen Mary is a product of BEL Hockey Academy in Bangalore. Having played in all major FIH and AHF tournaments, her career graph peaked with gold at the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games. She India for four years including the home Indira Gandhi Gold Cup 2005. She was part of the team that played the Madrid World Cup next year, her last international appearance. Post retirement, she was attached with the senior Women's national team as manager and goalkeeper coach in which spell the team won its first Asian Champions Trophy at Singapore in 2016.
