Olympian and Arjuna awardee Perumal Krishnamurthy presided an executive meeting and decided to conduct the Tamil Nadu Hockey As sociation’s elections on November 23. According to sources, representatives from 19 districts, including the seven members from Chennai, attended the meeting.

Secretary K Jothikumaran said it would invite an observer from Tamil Nadu Olympic Association and the ad hoc committee, or whichever body is in control of the administration of hockey in the country at that point of time, for the meeting on November 23. The meeting also requested SDAT to conduct the hockey league, which is overdue.
