Big win for SGPSA

NEW DELHI: Sat Guru Partap Singh Academy (SGPSA) defeated St. Mary’s High School, (Simdega) 7-0 in the Nehru junior hockey tournament here on Thursday.

In another match, Govt. Senior Secondary School (Jarkhar) beat Guru Gobind Singh Sports College 3-1. Gagandeep Singh, Daljeetb Singh and Navtej Singh scored for the winner, while Lalit Mohan scored the lone goal for the losing outfit.

In a one-sided encounter, Bright Scholar Senior Secondary School (Sonepat) beat Tirhut Academy (Muzaffarpur) 14-0. Siddharth Shankar (4), Arjun Antil (2), Deepak (2), Ved Prakash (2), Kamlesh Rai, Manish Bishnoi, Nitin Sharma and Vinay Shukla were the scorers.

CRZ Senior Secondary School (Sonepat) beat NCC Directorate (Orissa) 9-1. Mohit (2), Sitender (2), Rahul Kharab (2), Amit Kumar, Sanjay Lochab and Naveen scored for CRZ. The lone scorer for NCC was Mayum Hemlet Singh.
