Maratha Light Infantry (MLI) maintained a clean slate in the State ‘B’ division hockey league, thrashing AGORC 8-1 in Bangalore on Tuesday. Amol Patil, Amith Kadam and Ganesh Patil scored two goals each in the victory. The army men, who recorded their fourth consecutive victory on the trot, thus became the first to advance to the next phase. In the other matches, Synergy Sports trounced Hassan HC 5-2.
