Scores thrice in the teams overwhelming 7-1 win over PSC

Manpreet Singh scored three, as goals rained when Rajesh Pillay sports club scored a emphatic 7-1 win over Priyardarshini Sports Centre (PSC), in the Joe Philip memorial hockey tournament here on Tuesday.
After Manish Nair struck in the 10th minute, goals came in regular intervals as Rajesh Pillay ran riot against their opponents. And to stand tall among them was Manpreet Singh who pumped in three goals.
There was no stopping of the Rajesh Pillay players as goals came in every five-minute interval. After Manish Nair set the ball rolling for them, Ibrahim Mulla set up the second goal off a sole effort. And it was here Manpreet found his bearings. He converted a corner to set off his intentions.
And after Akash Pawar made it 4-0, this lanky midfielder took charge of the proceedings netting two goals in seven minutes and round up his goal tally to three. Pramod S rounded up the tally in the 46th minute.
Priyardarshini run in the championship has been tough as it was witnessed in their match on Monday when they pulled out a hard fought 2-1 win over Rakshak Sports Club.
