Sports College lose but enter hockey semi-finals

Despite going down to Sports Hostel by a solitary goal, Sports College entered the semi-finals of the 1st Kunwar SM Shadab memorial (prize money) hockey tournament. The all important goal of the match was scored by Shoeb Khan of Sports Hostel in the 21st minute.

Sports Hostel will now play LDA Coaching Centre in the first semi-final, while Sports College will meet KD Singh Babu Society in the other semi-final on Saturday.

In the other match of the day, LDA Coaching Centre and KD Singh Babu Society played out a 2-2 draw.
