Al Ameen triumph

Al Ameen College edged past Sree Bhagawan Mahavir Jain College 3-2 to win the Dr Isaac Memorial Hockey Tournament in Bangalore on Saturday.

Nilesh found the net on two occasions for the winners while B Somanna scored the third goal. Poonacha and Shaun Boppaiah netted the goals for SBMJC. In the thirdplace play-off, St Joseph’s Commerce College outplayed St John’s Medical College 3-0.
