Mandeep Singh turned out to to be the sensational star of 2013 Hockey India League. He was the second top scorer with 10 goals, just a goal away from established Sandeep Singh. His twin strikes in the semis against UP wizards were a to watch.

The talented lad from Mithapur near Jalandhar is a product of Surjit hockey academy, Jalandhar, which produced the likes of Jugraj Singh etc.

He has made his junior international debut in the 2012 Junior Asia Cup, and then in the same year played in the Sultan of Johor Cup, held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

He was the babe of the team then.

He will be making his senior debut at the Hockey World League Round 2 in Delhi this week. Note:
