Meanwhile, the Indian team, present at the same occasion looked confident for the forthcoming Champions Challenge-1 to be played at Argentina from 6-13 December.

Center of questions was coach Jose Brasa, and the most frequently asked one was about the rift within the team. But the Spaniard rubbished all those news that said there was no love lost between the coach and the player.

“The players are improving well. They are very motivated and fighting for their places. It is difficult to get such a bunch of committed players to see India back among the best in the world,” Brasa said.

“They are learning (new) ways of attacking, attacking from the circle, understanding between two players and (the importance of) movements,” he added.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed skipper Rajpal Singh looked excited about his new role in the team. “The successful tour of Canada has given the team a lot of confidence. We are hoping to do well in the Champions Challenge I,” he said.
