NEW DELHI: Gursimran Singh performed a hat-trick as host S.S. Mota Singh Senior Secondary Model School, Janakpuri, defeated Guru Harkrishan Public School, India Gate, 7-0 in the junior boys section of the 27th S.S. Mota Singh memorial hockey tournament at the school ground on Wednesday. Kulbeer Singh (2), Ravneet Singh and Dilpreet Singh scored the other goals.

In another match in the junior section, Bal Bharati Public School, Noida, won 4-2 in the tie-break against Bhatnagar International School, Vasant Kunj, after the teams had locked 1-1 at the end of the regulation period.

In the senior boys section, Mt. Abu Public School, Rohini, recorded a 5-2 triumph over Amity International School, Noida, thanks to the goals from Rohit (3), Abhishek and Sameer. Auradara Banerjee and Sunny Ahuja reduced the margin for the Noida team.
