Women players receive dues

Bhopal: Protesting Indian women hockey players finally received their dues from the Sport Ministry here on Friday.

The Director Sports, Government of India, Deepika Kachhal reached the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Regional Centre here to distribute the cheques.

All the 41 players got a cheque for Rs. 2.30 lakh each from the Sports Ministry on the occasion, chief coach M. K. Kaushik said. — PTI
