According to media officer, the matter has been reported to the tournament Director, who will take the final call on the matter.

It appears that Sports Authority of India’s officials have given a order to Jose Brasa not to speak to media. The letter was served to Brasa shortly after Jose convened a press conference after the World Cup at The Le Merridean, New Delhi, where he elaborated his Project India concept.

It is learnt here that as per the Tournament Regulations, for which every country is bound by, only chief coach should attend the post match press conference. The organizers were a bit embarrassed at the turn of events.

Whatever is going to happen, Indians here have already left a bitter taste in the mouth.
