Punjab teams enter final

Continuing with their winning spree, the Punjab men’s and women’s teams entered the title round of the Federation Cup Hockey and would lock horns with Delhi and Haryana respectively in the finals on Tuesday.

In the men’s semi-finals today, Punjab ended the hopes of rivals Chandigarh 4-1 while Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Delhi 7-6.

In the women’s semi-final matches, Punjab ruled the game, beating M.P. Hockey Academy 2-1. In another keenly contested game, Haryana beat Mumbai 5-3.
