Hockey duo rejoins camp

Sandeep Singh and Sardara Singh, whose bans were overturned, rejoined training at the National hockey camp here on Friday.

The two expressed happiness on their return to the fold, claiming that the ‘family issues’ that had led to their leaving camp abruptly had been solved.

“I would attribute all that happened to a bad phase I underwent,” Sardara Singh said.

“We promise that we won’t repeat it. India is paramount to us. Our focus is on the qualifiers,” the duo said.
