Even as Indian colts are all set to set the Singapore turf of fire, heat is being generated at different place, in Delhi. IOA and State Hockey Associations are all set to take head on collision in the coming days.

Hockey adminos are on war path after the IOA today announced ‘formation’ of Hockey India. By uni-lateral forming Hockey India, without open approval of either Indian Hockey Federation or Indian Women Hockey Federation stake holders, has led to vociferous opposing voices from the vast section of stake holders.

According to sources, State Hockey Associations of Men and Women will be gathering in Delhi mostly probably on 9th and 10th June to discuss their next move.

The Sahara faction, which has electoral college numbers with them, is rudely woken up to this rather undemocratic action of the governing body of the Olympics in the country,IOA, and is burning mid night oil to counter the move.

It is also gathered this faction have already written a letter to MS Gill, opposing the IOA move.
