DYSS fails to advance despite big win

BANGALORE: DYSS thumped Rainbow HC 7-1 but still fell short of making it to the round robin league stage of the State ‘B’ division hockey league at the KSHA stadium here on Tuesday.

Sudhakar (3), A. Mulla, Hunnuswamy, Nischith and Guruprasad got the goals for the winner, while Danny struck the lone goal for Rainbow HC.

MLI ‘B’, Synergy SC, SAI ‘D’ and BSNL qualified for the four team round robin league beginning on Thursday.
