Bangalore: St Philomena’s, Bellary, reached the last four stage of the KSWHA inter-school girls’ hockey tournament for the Bangalore Turf Club trophy with a thumping 5-0 victory over Sacred Hearts, Bangalore.

Vijayalakshi P first got into the scoring act for Philomena’s in the sixth minute while R Keerthana doubled the tally eight minutes later.

Philomena’s campaign gathered further steam when Krishna Priya struck a double in quick succession (21st, 23rd).

Vijayalakshmi netted her second goal (27th) to seal the issue.

Bishop Cotton ‘A’ too have ensured their semifinal berth and will take on their ‘B’ team in the last four.
