Bangalore: STC (Secunderabad) defeated STC (Pondicherry) 3-2 in the SAI South Zone inter-hostel hockey tournament at the KSHA Stadium here on Monday.

Satya Maheshwar Rao, Prasanna Kumar and Sandeep Raju scored for the winner while Karthikeyan scored both the goals for Pondicherry.

In another match, STC (Bangalore) defeated STC (Chennai) 5-0.
