Bhopal and Jalandhar to fight for the first place in SAIL Nehru Championship

The two finalist teams got confirmed on the day 7 of 17TH SAIL Nehru Championship.

In the first semi-final, JLN College Bhopal beat SGS Khalsa College Chandigarh 2-1.

Prince Yadav scored first goal for Bhopal in the 10th minute, but Rupinderpal Singh made it 1-1 in the 18th minute. It was Shailnder Singh who scored the winning goal for Bhopal in the 46th minute.

In the second semi-final, Lyallpur Khalsa routed Desh Bhagat Patiala 5-2.

Gagandeep, Jaspreet and Jaskaran scored a goal each while Harwant Singh scored a brace for the winner team while it was Deepanshu who scored two goals and reduced the losing margin for Patiala.

In finals, Lyallpur Khalsa College will meet JLN College Bhopal, while SGS Khalsa College will fight Desh Bhagat College Patiala for the third place.
