DAY 3 – Carmel Rink Hockey Tournament

St. Aloysious played well to defeat Children’s Academy for a fluent 3 -1 win in the U-14 Carmel Rink Hockey Tournament being held at the Mount Carmel quadrangle at Bandra.

In the following match between Ava Bai Petit and St. Luis Convent the latter won agaisnt Ava Bai Petit with a score of 4-3

In another interesting game of the boys under-16 category, Our Lady of Dolours beat DAV Nerul 11-6. Anoop Walmiki from Our Lady of Dolours scored a smashing 10 goals to take O.L. Dolours to a victorious win.

In the women’s match between UPL and Valchandson Sports, the latter beat the former to a score of 2-4.

The Club’s category had Hockey Malad competing against Sandokan Boys, which ultimately ended in a draw with a 2 all score.

The match between Saisa and Freunds saw Freunds taking a clean winning sweep to win against opponents to a score of 8-2

However, the most exciting encounter of the day was witnessed between Air India and Western Railway, with Western Railway Trailing by 5 goal and Air India winning the match 11-6.The highest scorer for Air India being Davinder Sharma with 3 goals.

Viren Rasquinha, attracted most of the crowd as he played for Air India and was seen in full action and the crowds cheering at his every movement.He gave Air India the lead by scoring his first goal. It was an evening well enjoyed and excitement for Day 4 of the tournament
