Carmel Rink Hockey Day Three Resutls

M.M.S played extremely well to defeat St. Andrew’s to a score of 5-0 in the U-12 Carmel Rink Hockey Tournament being held at the Mount Carmel quadrangle at Bandra.

In the following match between St. Paul ’s Convent and St Teresa’s -S’Cruz, the former failed to open their account losing to St Teresa’s -S’Cruz with a score of 0-2

In another interesting game of the boys under-14 category, St. Andrew’s beat MMS 7-6. Karandeep Nagi scored 4 times for the winners.

In the women’s match between Sea View and Western Railway, Western Railway beat Sea View to a score of 2-1.

The Club’s category had Freunz competing against Conroy XI with Freunds beating Conroy XI to getting winning edge of 7-3

The match between Union Bank and Rhema saw Union Bank taking a clean winning sweep to win against opponents to a score of 9-3

The match between F-United and Companeroes was a close finish with Companeroes taking the winning edge to defeat F-United to a final score of 5-3

However, the most exciting encounter of the day was witnessed between Mumbai Customs and MSP, with MSP Trailing by 1 goal and Mumbai Customs winning the match 5-4.The highest scorer for Mumbai Customs was Vijay Alphonso with 3 scores.

The day ended with some great excitement and lots to look forward to for the next 3 days.
