: The Chandigarh Education Depart ment will hold selection trials for the forthcoming 54th School National Games from October 15. The trials will be held for basketball, hockey, volleyball, kabaddi, lawn tennis, softball, chess, cricket and football. The trials for basketball in the U-14 category for boys and girls will be held at Sports Complex, Sector 46 on October 15 at 10 am while the U-17 trials will be held on October 16 at 10 am. The trials in the U-19 category will be held on October 17 at 10 am. The hockey trials in the U-14 category for boys and girls will be held at Hockey Stadium, Sector 18 on October 15 at 10 am while for U-17 category, trials will be held on October 16 at 10 am. The trials in the U-19 category will be held at the same venue on October 17. Kabaddi trials in the U-14 category will be held at Government Model Senior Secondary School on October 15 at 10 am while U-17 trials will be held at same venue on October 16.
