Chennai: Ethiraj Club edged out SDAT Hockey Academy (women) in the tie breaker after the teams were deadlocked at 2-2 after regulation time in the Winning XI women’s hockey tournament on Monday.

Kalavathi and Sangeetha scored for SDAT while Yuvarani and Nancy struck for Ethiraj. The latter won the tiebreaker 4-2.

Earlier, Gymkhana Club defeated Winning XI Club by two goals to nil, with Esther Rani and Sangeetha netting.
