A prominent midfielder in the Belgium team, Felix Denayer has played more than 325 internationals for his country.
He made his debut in 2008 and has a packed medals cabinet with a gold medals from the 2018 Bhubaneswar World Cup, 2019 EuroHockey Championship and the 2020-21 FIH Pro League.
Denayer also has several silver medals from the 2017 and 2013 EuroHockey championships and the inaugural 2020 FIH Pro League.
He plies his trade for KHC Dragons in the Belgian Premier League and did a juggling act with University studies in Antwerp where he graduated with a degree in Economics.
The 31-year-old had to rest content with silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics and is a key player in the ranks of the Red Lions to go one better at Tokyo 2020.
