St. Anne’s High School, Tivim, survived a close challenge from Janata High School, Mapusa, 3-2 via the tiebreaker to advance into the semifinals of the inter-school under-17 boys hockey tournament at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, on Monday.

After being locked goalless in regulation time, the match went into the tiebreaker where St. Anne’s proved their superiority. St. Anne’s will now face Holy Cross, Bastora, in the semifinals.
