Dharamvir Singh's forehand from the edge of the circle, that stunned the Irish goalie, saved India from blues in the Hockey World League.

Dharamvir Singh, who played for Punjab Warriors in the Hockey India League, claimed his fame when selected for the last Olympics as forward.

Dharamvir was declared Man of the Match for his goal against Ireland on 21st Feb.

Dharamvir is a product of Chandigarh Hockey Academy, was born in Ropar, Punjab. He made his senior international debut against Canada in the Test Series in 2009.

Before that he was part of Junior India squads.
