One of the seniors in the current Indan women team, Dipika Murthy is also the spokesperson of the team that has been spearheading a cool protest, demanding gender parity with Hockey India.
She is a graduate from LJ Commerce College, Ahmadabad. Played for St. Xavier Loyal Gymkhana Club in Ahmadabad. Represented Gujarat in the 1994 Junior Nationals and 1995 Senior Nationals. She made her junior debut against Germany in 2000. She was the second goalkeeper when Helen Mary was ruling the roost in the early of this decade.
Dipika works for the Indian Railways, Mumbai.
She was part of gold winning Kazan Champions Challenge Team and also silver winning Bangkok Asia Cup team.
