Intelligent inside-forward turned centre-half Jude Felix had a colourful hockey career which still continues in one form other. Jude Felix, hailing from Bangalore, represented Indian Railways in the Nationals and other domestic tournaments. He led India to fifth position at the Sydney World Cup. He was honoured with the Arjuna in 1994.

He is one of the pioneer Indian to play at foreign leagues including in England and France. He was also coach of the famous Singapore Recreation Club for many years. He was coach of the Senior Men's hockey team in 2014 - 2015. He was also Junior India coach for intermittent spells from 2015 to 2018. In that brief spell, Indian colts qualified for the 2017 Youth Olympic Games and then went on to win the Silver at the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games.
On Personal level, he runs Jude Felix Hockey Academy in Bangalore to support many downtrodden kids.
