At 33, Haryana’s Pritam is the oldest and most experienced in the Kazan Indian team. She last played her international match in 2002 (Asian Games). Mother of two children, she returned to the Kazan side after a sterling performance in the 2008 Jalandhar Senior Nationals, where under captaincy her state team Haryana, despite fielding a young team, finished fourth. She made her international debut in the 1991 Indira Gold Cup at Chandigarh. Since then upto wining the Commonwealth Games gold at Manchester in 2002, she has been a fixture in the national side. She led India to silver at the 1998 Asian Games. She was conferred with Arjuna award a year later.
