Born on 7th Jan, Sita had been a multi-sport talent, Himachal Pradesh's Sita Gussein, is a former Indian star women's hockey player. She was a product of Chandigarh Sports hostel. He represented her State in both Volleyball and hockey at the senior national champioships. She was an impact making midfielder, of centre-half. Won Arjuna award after being part of the 2002 Commonwealth Games. She was integral part of the Indian women's hockey team for one and half decade from 1989 to 2003. Though not expected to score she did so in the 2002 CWG final,which India won on tie-breaker against England. She works with the Indian Railways. Now lives in New Delhi.
