The biggest honour for the adivasi girl came in Bangkok where she was declared 'Best Player of the Women's Asia Cup 2009'. She richely deserved the honour, winning the hearts of the crowd as well The gritty defender is a cool customer, and guarded Indian rearguard with much anticipation and perseverance. As a 10th class student of Birsa Munda High School, Subhadra played her Junior World Cup in 2001, where she was the youngest of the Indian team. She is a product of Panposh Sports Hostel, Rourkela.
