Sushila's angles reached the semis of the Monchengladbach Jr World Cup, a first time semis in any FIH tournament for our girls. They beat New Zealand and Russia in the league, Spain in the quarters

Sushila was part of all the senior tournaments that India played in the last three years.

Saturday, the 25th February was the young sensation Sushila Chanu's birth day. India played the Delhi Olympic Qualifier final on that day.

Sushila Chanu is another talent to descend from Manipur. The defender cum midfielder is catching eyes with her unlimited energy and enthusiasm on the field. One of the youngest players in the squad, she also excels in the penalty corner defence and offence.
