The jewel from Manipur made her international debut at the Hyderabad Junior Asia Cup (2005), where India won the bronze. She is presently working with Western Railways.

She is in the mainline news nowadays, as she accused chief coach MK Kaushik of sexual harrassment. A 4-member Committee of Hockey India is probing the allegation.
