Born on 25th Feb 2000 in Chandon in Hoshangabad District of Madhya Pradesh, Vivek Sagar Prasad is a sensational utility player in the Indian squad. After a good stint in the Bhopal based Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy, found and trained by Olympian Ashok Kumar, joined National Hockey Academy in New Delhi in 2017. He won the FIH Rising Player of the Year in 2020. He led India to title at the Bangkok Asian Youth Olympic Games in 2018 and then the team for Silver at the main Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games.
