TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF HOCKEY YEAR BOOK TO BE CELEBRATED COINCIDING 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF 1936 BERLIN OLYMPIC HOCKEY FINAL

Tenth Anniversary of International Hockey Year Book will be celebrated next week in New Delhi. The Publishers Field Hockey Publications will be celebrating the occasion in a simple but impressive way — to coincide with 70th Anniversary of India winning the 1936 Berlin Olympic gold.

A dignitary living in Punjab who witnessed the 1936 final will be chief guest. A photo exhibition on the exploits of barefoot Indians at Berlin will also be held simultaneously.

Many living hockey legends are likely to attend the function.
