Indian Colts face Bharat Petroleum in Ranjit Final

Indian Colts led by Diwakarram steamrolled Punjab and Sind Bank while Bharat Petroleum survived many a scare before emerging winner against Punjab National Bank in the other semis of the Fifth Majaraja Ranjit Gold Cup at Gurgon.

In the fist semifinal, Pundalik Bellary (2nd min.), Amar Aiyamma (4th Min) and Gurpreet Singh 2 minutes after the lemon time scored while for the losing Bank team Lakhwinder Singh and Navdeep Singh made amends.

The other semifinals was on expected lines with the Colts taking lead in the first quarter and going bullish in the second half. PSB team was in a disarray in the second half, almost numphed by the phase and precision of the Colts.

After captain Diwakar Ram (4 and 12th Min) posted the brace early, Pramod Kumar, Lalit Upadhyay and Belser Horo scored a goal each in the last five minutes.

Tomorrow the final will be played between the Colts and the Petroleum team.
